Are You Feeling It?
Anyone else feeling the crunch to get everything done before Christmas? I started planning back in the Spring, but projects are still lined up waiting to be finished in time for gift giving. Abby's 7th birthday is tomorrow, Dec. 9th, so I've also been preparing for her special day. Today, I made sandwich cookies for her class party tomorrow and baked the cake for tomorrow night's special dinner. Thursday night she's having a pizza and cupcake party with some friends from school. Tomorrow I need to finish making her cake into a Taylor Swift guitar (good luck to me!) and make the cupcakes for Thursday night. Between baking today I was able to finish 3 tutus; only one to go! I need to get back to my kitchen cleanup....Hope you're doing better at finishing those Christmas gifts than I am!

I hope you post a picture of the Taylor Swift guitar. That sounds like it's going to be an awesome cake!
My mom always made up creative cakes, so I do it too. The easiest year was Luke's Bob the Builder party. I crumbled a chocolate cake into the back of one of his dumptrucks and added some chocolate pudding. It was a dirt cake. LOL
Yes, I'm feeling it! There will not be many homemade gifts here this year, it's been too crazy.
And adding a birthday into the mix in December is tough, isn't it? Kylie's birthday is on the 10th, so I know how that is. I was totally impressed that you guys threw a friend party! Love the caged up picture.:)
And what a fun cake! We love doing creative cakes too. Though this year the birthday girl made her own.
