My oldest turned eight on Saturday...my how the years have flown! We celebrated with a sleepover Friday night with friends, then a grandma party on Saturday night. Drew is turning into such a responsible, sweet boy. His favorite gifts this year were Legos and he's planning to buy more with his birthday cash. He is now 90 lbs and up to my shoulder high with size 7 1/2 shoes...what a big guy he is! I wouldn't be surprised if he's as big as me when he's 10. We have been so blessed to have Drew and look forward to another year of watching him grow.

Happy Birthday, Drew! What a boy, I bet he's a great athlete! Our 8 year old (girl) is top of the charts and right at my shoulder too. How did they get to be so big already?! 18 is just 10 short years away...sigh.
