Last weekend, Abby's friend had a birthday, so we decided to make her a twirly skirt. Abby picked the fabric out of my Tutti Frutti stash, and we used the tutorial here from Polka Dot Chair to make matching skirts for her and her friend, Hannah. I didn't get a picture of both skirts together, but Abby loves hers! I really got to use my full arsenal of sewing gadgets with this project. I used the serger for the seams, my ruffler attachment for the gathering, and good old sewing machine for the ribbon trim. The finished product turned out very nice, if I do say so :)
