Veteran's Day

It's windy and rainy here today, so we decided not to go to the parade. Drew was really excited to go, but we went shopping for hunting gear instead. Our friend Michael just got discharged after 4 years in the Army and 2 tours overseas....We had a good time catching up over dinner last night. Sounds like he may be staying in our trailer house until he finds an apartment.

I was raised in a pacifist family, so I didn't grow up hearing stories about serving our country in the armed forces. Andy's dad served as a medic in Vietnam and has some pretty shocking stories. I am so thankful for the men and women who choose to serve us by protecting our nation. America is free because of our veterans...Thank you all!
