The kids were excited to start school today. We woke them up at 6:45, forced them to eat something for breakfast and were out the door at 7:20 to catch the bus at the end of the lane. I was hoping they would want me to drive them the first day, but Drew wanted to ride the bus "so he could start meeting new friends as soon as possible." How precious! Abby also preferred the bus, so the bus it was. I'm praying for a smooth first day for them, lots of new friends and patience for me as I adjust to life at home with Mallory :)
