Well, we're connected again. 6 days without internet, TV, or newspaper sure felt like a long time! We're settling into the rental. I have most of the boxes unpacked or tucked away in closets and the two storage units are full. Progress on the sale of our home is going well - only waiting on the septic inspection before all is clear. We had the septic test pits dug on our property last Monday and now wait for the DEQ to tell us which type of septic it needs - we're praying for standard septic so it's a definite sale.
The kids are having fun at their new home. No chores to do! The weather here is hot and dry, so they're swimming in the kiddie pool several times a day. We've made several trips to the river to swim and taken some nice drives to explore the area.
