Alaska

We had a fabulous cruise to Alaska! We left Friday morning, the 12th, for Seattle. Mom & Dad were gracious enough to keep the kids. Friday at 4pm we departed from Seattle, then were at sea on Saturday. Sunday was spent in Juneau where we rode a bus to Mendenhall Glacier and hiked around for a few hours. After the glacier, we rode the tram up on top of Mt. Roberts. Beautiful views! Monday we spent in Skagway and rode the train up the White Pass. Tuesday we cruised up the Tracy Arm Fiord and saw Sawyer Glacier. Wednesday was at sea, then we visited Victoria, BC on Thursday. We spent the afternoon at Butchart Gardens..amazing! We arrived back in Seattle on Friday morning and were back in Albany by 1:00. It was wonderful to be pampered for a week with no cooking or cleaning! We really missed the kids and were ready to come home by Wednesday...next time we need to take them along.

10 years of marriage have gone by so quickly...we are so blessed with a happy marriage and healthy family. I am excited to see what the next 10 years will bring!
