I've been a busy bee

Last week I was frantically trying to make matching adult & kid aprons and chef hats for the school carnival raffle...they turned out really cute.

I've been working on this granny tote for about 2 months and it's finally done! I'm really happy with it - quirky and fun!

I tried a new pattern for me; a peasant top with ruffle sleeves and lace trim. It's really cute, but not so flattering...no, wait - could it be that I still need to lose 2o lbs?!!! Despite my figure, I really like the top and plan to make matching ones for the girls. The blue purse matches perfectly, too!

Abby has been asking for pajamas, so that will probably be my next project, although I really want to try a new Hobo bag pattern with some Farm Chick fabric for me. A girl can never make enough bags, or so I tell Andy :)

What a cutie in the chef's hat!! You look good Angie! I like your matching purse and top, cute. How fun that you can make matching ones for your girls.

I still don't know how you make time for crafts...I've been wanting to make beanbags since Valentine's...(should be easy right?)but I still haven't gotten around to it, sigh, one of these days. Craft projects can be fairly involved for me as I'm not very talented and well, my sewing machine is still in a box in the garage.:P

You inspire me though, so maybe soon!
